CIMAC provides a forum for technical interchange with all parties interested in piston engines, gas turbine systems, non-shaftline propulsion systems, automation and controls, system integration and digitalization solutions.
CIMAC Hellas Working Groups operate in close alignment with CIMAC International Working Groups. The Working Groups (WG) provide a platform for technical discussion, experience exchange, and contribution to international CIMAC activities.
The Working Group Fuels focuses on conventional and alternative fuels used in large combustion engines.
Topics include:
Fuel specifications and quality
Alternative fuels (LNG, methanol, ammonia, biofuels, hydrogen)
Fuel handling and safety
Impact of fuels on engine performance and emissions
The WG Fuels contributes to both national discussions and CIMAC International fuel-related activities.
The Working Group Lubricants addresses all aspects of lubrication for large engines.
Topics include:
Lubricant performance and formulation
Compatibility with fuels and aftertreatment systems
Condition monitoring and oil analysis
Lubrication challenges for new engine technologies
The group supports knowledge exchange between users, suppliers, and engine manufacturers.
The Working Group Users represents the perspective of engine operators and end users.
Topics include:
Operational experience and best practices
Reliability and maintenance
Digitalization and monitoring
Feedback to manufacturers and regulators
This Working Group ensures that practical operational experience is reflected in CIMAC activities.
